The house below added 1500 sq. ft. including a full basement. The entire roofline was modified so the addition blended in seamlessly with the existing home.

Before	After
Front of the house. Notice the brick porch remains the same.

Back of house. No change to the back porch overhang.

West side - the chimney was extended to accommodate the higher pitched roof.

East side - the crux of the addition - second story loft added on top of the main floor addition, and full basement to give a total of 1500 sq ft of additional living space.
